San Andres is a municipality in the province of Catanduanes. It has magnificent landscape and is home to the Luyang Cave Park, Talahid Falls, Batong Paloway and Mount Cagmasoso.
Ones refuge for the villagers of San Andres and became a hiding spot during the Moro tribe’s invasion.
Mount Cagmasoso, which is located in the town of San Andres near the Luyang cave, is the province’s highest mountain summit. This location is best known amongst outdoor enthusiasts and climbers since the view from the top of the mountain is just truly stunning.
Talahid falls are made up of two sections, the upper section measuring around 12 meters high and the lower section measuring approximately 5 meters high. Going here from the ascent takes around 1 hour of walking. A wonderful location for a family picnic and swimming.
