Sculpting 3D Architectural Modeling Using SketchUp
We’ve finish retracing and outlining the reference site image.
Now we will be learning some of the tools that will helps us to achieve incredible 3D Model.
Listed below are some of the awesome tools of SketchUp
- Move Tool – Use to Move or changing location of an object. Move is a humble tool.
- Push / Pull – The Push/Pull tool is a simple creature; use it to sculpt 3D shapes. You click a face once to start pushing/pulling it, move your cursor until you like what you see, and then click again to stop pushing/pulling.
- Offset Tool - enables you to offset a line or shape quickly and easily. We create the shape we need in only two clicks. (Like click face and click inside if you want to offset in or click outside if you want to offset out.). For more precise measurement click face and move pointer either in or out and type the exact offset distance “Hit Enter”.

The technique used is Importing images as a source and guide patterns for drawing layout.
