BBB TRI-TREK IN FLORES
BULALACAO – BUHAWI – BINANDERAHAN
ABOUT BULALACAO CAVE
The pioduran region features a cave that has been hidden for a long time, but the DENR just recently discovered it. Bulalacao cave, located in Sitio Binangkuan, Barangay Flores, Pioduran Albay (Coordinates 13°05’53.4″N 123°25’41.6″E).
Get in there!
Flores, Elementary School, Flores Pioduran Albay is the nearest dispatch point. The cave is approximately a half-hour to an hour walk from this location.
ABOUT BUHAWI HILL
Buhawi Hill attracts individuals who love trekking as a hobby. Buhawi hills is located at boundary of Barangay Panganiran and Barangay Flores. (Coordinates 13°04’58.9″N 123°25’51.6″E).
Get in there!
Just stroll on the mountain range from Bulalacao Cave, travel to Buhawi Hill is approximately a half-hour to an hour walk.
ABOUT BINANDERAHAN HILL
Binanderan is a hill sits beside Buhawi hills. Binanderahan hill is located at boundary of Barangay Panganiran, Barangay Flores and Barangay Binodegahan. (Coordinates 13°04’37.7″N 123°26’06.5″E).
Get in there!
Since binanderahan is on the other side of Buhawi hill getting there is challenging because of terrain. Need to go down from Buhawi hills and start climbing the terrain of Binanderahan.
Option A.
From Buhawi hill went down to Panganiran river and start ascend.
Option B.
From Buhawi hill went down to Ologon area (“PANTAY” meaning flat land area) river and start ascend.
Mountain activities
A. Camping and spending overnight at each mountain is a wonderful way to unwind.
B. Taking Pictures: Take advantage of this opportunity to get a fantastic photo in the mountains. Each mountain gives a fantastic position for dawn and sunset, which is a distinguishing feature of this BBB Tri-trek. Some time, in the early morning, a sea bed of clouds emerges.
C. Star Gazing: Another remarkable occurrence in this environment is stargazing. The magnificence of the sky will enchant us.
